In Cautintal and its vicinity are three national parks and beautiful Reservas,
National Park Conguillio and Tolhuaca, and Reserva
Malalcahuello, Nalcas.
Reserva Nacional Conguillío
The National Park with its 60 832 hectares Conguillío is one
of the most beautiful national parks in Chile.
The park was established in 1950 mainly to protect the still
numerous existing Auracarien built.
Because sometimes they look like umbrellas spanned by the National Park is
also Conguillío Las Paraguas - called - the umbrellas.

Reserva Nacional Malalcahuello-Nalcas
The national park was established in 1931 and Malalcahuello comprises 12 789

Reserva Nacional Tolhuaca
Founded in 1935, this National Park covers 6474 hectares and

"Laguna Malleco" and "Laguna Verde".
The main river is the "Río Malleco", which empties into the
"Laguna Malleco".
